oh geeez…
February 27, 2009Do to a recent laptop complication (and by complication I mean the darn thing slammed into the floor) I will be out of a computer for a bit. I hope to have something new up and running by the end of next week. If you are waiting on designs from me there will unfortunately be a delay. Crazy as this may seem, the computer actually still works but now over 3/4 of the screen is totally shot. While I’ll admit that I’m dreading having to start all over again, I really was due for an upgrade as this 2-year-old laptop is currently being held together with duct tape (seriously… not kidding). Anyhoo… I am currently backing up all my files to have them ready to transfer over.

January 17, 2009This logo was an entire year in the making. Stacy contacted me the first time over a year ago and we became fast friends. We’ve kept in touch sharing stories and feelings while working on her logo every now and then. I created the bird for her a while back when she, after much prayer, was lead by God to name her business “Set Free.” I truly feel like our friendship was a gift from God. Thanks so much Stacy… for choosing me to be your designer… and your friend.

Out of town
October 12, 2008Just wanted everyone to know that I won’t be around for a bit. There was a very unexpected death in my family. I’ll be spending time with relatives for the next few days.

Trying something new…
September 20, 2008I’ve decided to start offerring up some pre-made logo collections. I have ideas for designs from time-to-time or perhaps graphics I’ve created that were not chosen and figured this would be a good way to use them! I’m going to put up a new page (on the menu at the top) with the ones I have available and the details. What you see there is all I will have available (in other words, I’m not hiding extras in the stockroom or anything LOL).

August 28, 2008I live in south Louisiana… and there is currently a big ugly hurricaine headed straight for us. We are going to be riding out the storm here at home. I’m headed out very shortly to purchase more diapers, snacks, drinking water, toilet paper, batteries, etc. I thought it was important to let you all know this just incase we are hit hard and I am MIA for a while. I’ve been through this before and it’s not uncommon to go without electricity for a while after a storm. No electricity obviously means no interenet. So… we will see. The storm is predicted to make landfall around Tuesday morning…

so here we have a splash page, blog header and background, and business card. please note that i can create a design for splash pages but i do NOT do the .html part. if you are interested in this you must either know how to do it yourself or know someone else who is capable to do that part.

Kimi Boustany: Hi... I am a member of the Phaunt forum and someone posted your info as a designer. So being bored on a Friday night I clicked the link. How happy I was to run across this flier. I saw it posted in the vets office. I liked it so much I took a picture of it with my camera phone. Loved the Polaroid frame and immediately came home and made something as close as I could. I loved the simplicity of the flier. It seemed to draw you in. So now I have to ask... I am in Laf. are you local? ~kimi~
